What I like the most is seeing how the result changes with the same resources, depending on the choice and placement of towers.PRO:- The music is spectacular. Really well above average and what you would expect in an Indie product.- The level design has something that hooks. In each mission you get "surprises" the first time you play. The first screens have not been difficult for me, then it gets complicated.- The story is a bit bizarre but it is entertaining and I have even laughed with some comment. Hubey is the best!- The designs are curious, a mixture of pixelArt and Comic that merge quite well in the game.CONS:- I had a problem with the full screen. I recommend it.. I'm a huge fan of retro tower-defense games, and this one makes me feel like back in the good days :)Its art may look a bit amateurish in the screenshots, but I can see that the developers really poured their hearts into this game. Everything is really detailed and polished, with a great prologue and a nice ambience.I really recommend giving it a try as it won't disappoint. Development Update: I'd like to keep this news section a little more active in the future. So I'll try to post development updates here as well. These will be tiny bits of information, just letting you know what I've been up to lately and that I am, in fact, not floating face down in a river somewhere. Frederic: Evil Strikes Back Monomyth Development Tidbit #04: The Wizard's Eye spell can be used to explore otherwise inaccessible areas.Also, I have started using a more mechanics-oriented workflow for level design. I will probably share more details on this in a later update.. Development Tidbit #03: "Surprise!"Arcane traps can be placed with a spell."Blink" is done as well. It will probably be a late game spell since it's rather powerful. It allows you to slip through prison bars, portcullises and even cracks in the wall by teleporting you just a few feet straight ahead.Wizard's Eye should be interesting to fully implement.For the moment, I'll try to limit myself to spells that are actually useful within the alpha area.. Development Tidbit #02: Spells are fun! Especially if they change gameplay. This gem is otherwise only obtainable much later. Of course, you can also do other things with this, like opening doors or pulling leavers that are out of reach.
